Mitchell Moses will repel the Wests Tigers and sign a $1.25 million deal with Parramatta Eels

Mitchell Moses will end months of speculation about his future and sign a new contract with the Parramatta Eels.
Moses is poised to turn down a four-year, $5.2million offer from the Wests Tigers to tie his future to the Eels for the long term.
The halfback has been pondering his future since becoming a free agent on November 1 and meeting with the Tigers and Bulldogs as he weighed whether to stay with Parramatta.
Canterbury withdrew from the race two weeks ago, leaving Parramatta in a battle with the Tigers – Moses’ former club – for his services.
Moses, 28, has an option in his contract with Parramatta for 2024 that he must trigger by April 1. Instead, the NSW representative will sign an upgrade and renewal deal that will likely see him retire from his blue and gold career.
As of Tuesday night, Moses had not yet written down the eels.

Sources with knowledge of the negotiations, who spoke on condition of anonymity due to the confidential nature of the deal, said herald that Moses has made up his mind and wants to stay with the Eels where he has spent the last six seasons.
These sources claim that Moses will earn around $1.25 million over the course of the season, making him one of the highest-paid players in the NRL alongside Nathan Cleary and Kalyn Ponga.
