Missing 10-year-old boy from Strathfield school found

A 10-year-old boy from St Patrick’s College, Strathfield has been found after going missing outside of school.

Police have appealed for public help to locate Liam Walsh, who went missing around 8.30am and was found around 1.30pm on Wednesday.

Officers from the Burwood Police Area Command were notified when Liam could not be located and began searching for him.

Family and police were concerned for Liam’s well-being due to his age.

After extensive investigation and geo-targeted SMS alerts, the boy was found in Strathfield at around 1:30pm.
