A TIKTOKER’s hobby has grown into a viral sensation, leaving viewers stunned and wanting more.
The videos start with simple trays of food but quickly take a turn.

Giovanni Telese is an Italian chemistry student and TikToker with nearly 50,000 followers on the platform.
His videos feature traditional foods and dishes that look appetizing in every way.
Until Telese crushes the food and reveals it’s made of powdery or homemade slime.
“I still can’t believe people from all over the world are watching my work!” Telese told Indy100.

Telese uses glue, baking soda and food coloring to create realistic dishes.
He gets ideas for new videos from cooking shows.
Indy100 reported that Telese spends 35 hours a week working on videos for his account, making each piece by hand or with molds.
“What inspired me to get into food was TV shows about cooking and the concept of combining science and art in my work really got me excited,” said Telese.
Thanks to the business model of TikTok and a merchandise shop, Telese has earned several thousand euros with his videos.
“Man the more I watch you the hungrier I get,” one TikTok user commented, despite the groceries being fake.

Telese’s content fits right in with the TikTok model of short videos with a hopping music track and a sudden reveal.
He has posted 43 videos so far.
