Milk futures, cash dairy lower

Milk futures on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange started lower Monday, as did cash markets.

Class III milk in May fell 24 cents to $24.77. June 68 cents lower at $23.78. July down 59 cents to $23.51. August 43 cents lower at $23.12. September to November 21 down 41 cents.

Dry whey flat at $0.5850.

Blocked $0.06 at $2.29. Four sales were made at $2.29 and $2.30.

barrel fell $0.0225 to $2.3575.

Butter down $0.0250 at $2.6150. A trade was made at this price.

Non-Fat Dry Milk fell $0.0050 to $1.7350. A trade was made at this price.
