Miley Cyrus, Maxx Morando’s relationship timeline
Something to sing! Miley Cyrus and Max Morando‘s relationship is heating up.
The two musicians were first linked romantically after they were spotted dancing Miley’s New Years Eve Party Special in January 2022. During the show she co-hosted with Peter DavidsonCyrus sang a new track titled “You,” which many fans believe is about Morando.
“I’ve got some baggage / Let’s do some harm / I’m not made for horses and carriages / You know I’m wild / You overlook it,” the lyrics read. “I want that nightly sweet magic / That love that lasts forever / But only when it’s with you.”
A few weeks later, an insider shared Us weekly that the duo were in a “new relationship.”
“They’re still getting to know each other right now,” the insider said in March 2022. “They’re having fun and spending a lot of time together.”
The source added that the couple, who have a six-year age gap, are “very compatible.”
Cyrus’ relationship with Morando came after their romance Cody Simpson end of August 2020.
“Right now, two halves can’t make a whole, and we’re just working individually on ourselves and becoming the people we want to be,” she said via Instagram Live at the time. “Like everyone else at that age, we’re deciding who we want to be with our lives, what we want to do with our lives. So don’t make it a drama story when we hang out and get pizza next week. We’ve been friends for 10 years and will continue to be. Just don’t make it something it’s not.”
That Hannah Montana alum was previously married to Liam Hemsworth. The couple exchanged vows in 2018 after dating on and off for a decade. However, their relationship ended for good less than a year after the wedding. Their divorce was finalized in 2020.
“There was too much conflict,” Cyrus said Howard Stern 2020 about the breakup. “When I come home I want to be anchored by someone. I’m not into drama or fights.”
