Miley Cyrus addresses Liam Hemsworth on “Muddy Feet,” fans think

From the moment Miley Cyrus released “Flowers” in January, fans were convinced the track was about ex-husband Liam Hemsworth. Well, the new album from Cyrus Endless summer vacation is out now and it looks like “Flowers” isn’t the only reference to Hemsworth found in the project.

This morning (March 10) fans are taking notice of “Muddy Feet,” a collaboration with Sia. It’s a bold tune that Cyrus begins with, “I don’t know / Who the fuck do you think you’re messing with / Get out of my house with that shit / Get out of my house my life with that shit.” She later sings : “And you smell like perfume that I didn’t buy / Now I know why you closed the curtains / Get out of my house.”

This, of course, led some Cyrus fans to conclude that the song confirmed rumors that Hemsworth cheated on them.

However, it’s worth noting that she addressed the cheating rumors more head-on in 2019, tweeting: “But the truth is, when Liam and I made up, I meant it and I was committed. There are NO secrets to solve here. I have learned from every experience in my life. I’m not perfect, I don’t want to be, it’s boring. I grew up in front of you, but the bottom line is that I’ve grown up. I can admit many things, but I refuse to admit that my marriage ended because of cheating. Liam and I have been together for ten years. I’ve said it before and it’s true, I love Liam and always will.”
