The infamous “Doge” meme

Kyle had traveled around Japan in May while visiting Atsuko Sato, the famous dog’s owner, leading to this meme collaboration.

The Bad Luck Brian meme first appeared in 2012 after a yearbook photo of Kyle went viral.

He was seen in a plaid sweater vest, with strawberry blonde hair and braces.

Since then it has been used to describe a number of embarrassing incidents.

Meanwhile, the Doge meme became an internet sensation a year later as Bad Luck Brian.

It’s based on an old photo of the Atsuko dog that she posted on her blog.

It shows Kabosu with crossed paws and looks sideways into the camera with a slight grin.

Notably, the meme is captioned with terse phrases and broken English like “Wow,” “so Scare,” and “So Mystery.”

The picture of the two legends was posted to Instagram and of course Kyle was wearing his essential sweater and blue top.
