PRINCE Harry and Meghan Markle are set to visit the UK in WEEKS – despite their ongoing row over police protection.
The Duke and Duchess’ trip will support “several charities close to their hearts,” the couple’s spokesman said.
It is not known if their three-year-old son Archie and their one-year-old daughter Lilibet will join them on their journey across the pond.
The announcement comes days after Harry in the couple’s security row filed a SECOND lawsuit against the UK government.
Harry claims his family is ‘unsafe’ in the UK without self-funded armed bodyguards from the Met Police.
But the Home Office turned down the Duke’s request, saying London’s police officers are not “guns for hire”.
Meghan and Harry’s upcoming visit will see the couple head to Manchester for the One Young World Summit on September 5.
It brings together young leaders from more than 190 countries.
The Duchess of Sussex is an advisor to the organization alongside Justin Trudeau, Sir Richard Branson and Jamie Oliver, among others.
They then travel to Germany for the Invictus Games Düsseldorf 2023 One Year to Go event before returning to the UK on September 8th for the WellChild Awards.
Their visit to the UK will mark the first time they have been back in the country since the Platinum Jubilee celebrations in early June.
A spokesman for the couple said: “Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are delighted to be visiting several charities close to their hearts in early September.”
