Dirty erasing

Republican colleagues from Arizona state deputy Markus Finchem (R) has said he’s among the “stupidest” people in the State House, but that doesn’t make him less dangerous.

Finchem took part the Uprising in the Capitolbelongs to the Oath Keeperand has posted repeatedly QAnon Content.

Now he wants to run the Arizona election – which is pretty scary as he’s not going to quit lying about the 2020 presidential election. The Washington Post editorial staff Calls the state’s republican ticket that includes Finchem and gubernatorial candidate Kari Lakea dangerous threat to democracy.

Finchem even Lying about his voting results. This summer he said he consistently votes personally. Fourth stand 48 in a row reported that Finchem actually voted by letter in 28 of the last 30 elections.

Finchem’s connections to extremism run deep. him once suggested an ethical code for Islamophobia-free teachers David Horwitz. Media Matters reports that it will be posted repeatedly QAnon Contentattended a QAnon influencer conference and babbled about pedophiles in government.

He’s so delusional (or dishonest) that he called the deadly Unite the Right Rally a”Deep State PsyOp.”

Many Arizona Republicans were stunned Finchem won the nomination for foreign minister. one after described him as under “The dumbest“ Members of the State House.

Finchem, a former police officerdoes not seem know a lot about the law or concern to learn. him once suggested Legislation allowing Arizona to ignore federal laws—that’s definitely how it works.

After the uprising in the Capitol, Finchem quietly deleted his old one Twitter accountwhere he was promoted the stop-the-steal rally and posted photos outside the Capitol minutes before the mob infiltrated it.

Nuking his old Twitter might be the smartest thing Finchem ever did.

Why it matters

Journalist Dillon Rosenblatt, who writes Fourth Estate 48 and has reported on him for years, told the Daily Dot that Finchem has been likened to the moustachioed McDonald’s Nugget toy.

“I’m pretty sure the inanimate object understands Arizona electoral law better than the man who’s hoping to oversee the state’s elections,” Rosenblatt said.

That may be true, but Finchem still has one solid chance of winning in November.
