McDonald’s worker slams customers who ask for ‘fresh’ food

A McDonald’s employee vents his frustration at customers asking for “fresh food” in a viral TikTok.

TikTok user Mârio Scott (@cactusmvrkss) usually posts content about his job at McDonald’s to his 15,000 followers. This time he filmed a skit with a response he wished he could say to customers whenever they demand “fresh” groceries.

The content creator starts with what they claim to be telling customers.

“Hey, madam. Double cheeseburger, big fries?” he says. “Is my food fresh?” asks the customer, to which he replies, “Yes, ma’am. Straight from the fat. Just for our customers.”

He then repeats the same scenario, but this time showing how he would most like to respond to customers.

Instead of being polite when they ask if the food is fresh, he sarcastically replies, “No, I cooked it, put it in the freezer, left it in there for 12 minutes, and served it to you,” he says angrily. “In fact, I left it in there for 12 more minutes just to serve to your idiot. stupid bitch Take your damn food.”

The Daily Dot contacted Scott via TikTok comment and direct message regarding the video, which racked up over 140,000 views as of March 5 and resonated with viewers.

“I hate when people ask that shit lmaooo that’s such a pet,” said one viewer.

“Pisses me when they ask for anything fresh… bro it’s fast food it’s greasy and fresh,” agreed a second.

“I hate it when they ask us to make them a fresh load just for them,” repeated a third.

However, there were some people who disagreed with the creator, stating that the food is only fresh if you ask for it.

“The food isn’t fresh as one worker and one customer learned, it’s only fresh when you ask,” wrote one user.

“Nah because you guys leave that shit sitting there for a good minute to serve to the next person because you’re lazy about throwing more food down,” commented a second.

“Y’all MFS handing out cold fries,” added a third.

Other food service workers shared their customers’ annoyances in the comments.

“Boi, I want to scream so much when people ask me, ‘Are the spoons clean?’ DO I LOOK like I pulled them out of the trash,” one person shared.

“‘Is everything in the bag?’ CHECK THE BAG AND THEY TELL ME,” remarked a second.

“I hate when people come in with loads of burgers/nuggets and it’s made to order,” explained a third.
