McDonald’s Worker Flames customer for before-hours order

While many McDonald’s locations are open 24/7, one TikToker was reminded in a not-so-subtle way that she visited one of the stores that aren’t.

The 10-second clip posted by @hails.mae shows her in the McDonald’s drive-thru on the order screen. @hails.mae quickly zooms in on her order total: four items at a whopping $61.30. She zooms back out and asks the clerk, “Oh, can you have a big fries with that, please?”

The McDonald’s employee reacts annoyed to this. “You know we’re getting closer in about 10 minutes, you fucking bitch? Come on,” they say.

The clip ends with a short chuckle from @hails.mae.

As of Monday, the TikTok video has been viewed 1.1 million times, and viewers are siding with the McDonald’s employee.

“I’m with him” is the top comment with over 18,000 likes.

“I really feel his pain,” said a second sympathetically.

“Bro said what everyone was thinking,” wrote a third.

“As a Maccas worker, I agree,” agreed a fourth.

Many pointed out the closing time as to why the customer was wrong.

“ANYONE going anywhere before the last 15 minutes of closure is wrong to me lol,” said another.

Since the TikToker found the worker’s reaction humorous, some thought they knew each other and that it was just a joke.

“I really hope he was one of her friends joking around with her and if not he deserves to be fired. Sometimes that happens and the customer comes first,” said one.

A few criticized the worker in a similar way. “Should never speak to a person like that. Kindness always,” said another.

“Bruh I had to take an order at Starbucks with 30 seconds left and you still have to be nice,” said another.

The “worker vs. customer who shows up just before closing time” was a recent argument on TikTok. In July, a Chick-fil-A employee was filmed not allowing customers to pick up their order because they showed up at closing time. The worker apparently deliberately threw away their food in front of them. That same month, an alleged TikToker employee played “male screaming sound effects” to evict her from the restaurant. Viewers assumed she had arrived just before closing time. In both cases, many spectators sided with the workers.
