McDonald’s employees share how to make oatmeal in Viral TikTok

If you’re a fan of McDonald’s oatmeal, you might be a bit surprised to learn how it’s prepared.

In a currently viral TikTok, user @mcdonaldscreations — an account that shows behind the scenes at the chain — revealed how the popular breakfast dish is made.

In the video, the TikToker takes a packet of prepackaged oats and pours it into a cup. They then add what looks like water and ice cream to the cup before sealing the container. Based on McDonald’s website, oatmeal is served with apples, cranberries, and raisins.

The video has more than 2.6 million views on TikTok and over 1,000 comments.

The top commenter, with at least 10,000 likes, wrote: “If anyone is wondering, it’s SLAPS.”

Other users similarly commented that they were fans of McDonald’s oatmeal.

“I swear they put crack or something in their oatmeal,” another TikToker commented. “Why does it taste so good?! But at home, I’m like, “No, I don’t want to make oatmeal.”

“Best oatmeal ever, well worth it,” said another viewer.

“McDonald’s Oatmeal is so good,” commented another user.

Of course, this is not the first time McDonald’s has been “unmasked” for the way employees prepare the chain’s food. In November, another TikToker seem to be in contact How McRibs are hosted; in February, another alleged employee revealed Where does the restaurant’s signature practice come from?
