McDonald’s customer roasts Quarter Pounder order on TikTok

A popular TikToker toasts McDonald’s for his unappetizing Quarter Pounder order, which he says cost him $10 in a viral TikTok.
The video was uploaded by user Justin Chopelas (@justinchopelas), who mostly posts content about his fast food fails.
In the video he shows off the burger he ordered along with a big Dr. Pepper, which he says made him $10.
“Seriously, I spent $10 at McDonald’s and got a Dr. Pepper with a bacon quarter masher and added extra bacon to that quarter masher,” he says, opening the container to reveal his burger, which has bacon heavily seasoned with black pepper.
He continues, “First of all, if I pay $10, can you put the cheese in the middle of the meat? And then we came to talk about the pepper.”

The Daily Dot has contacted Chopelas via TikTok comment and McDonald’s via press email regarding the video. The video was viewed over 775,000 times as of Sunday, with viewers saying it was normal McDonald’s behavior.
“Dude, I don’t know what to tell you. it’s McDonald’s… honestly, you’re lucky they remembered the bacon,” joked one viewer.
“Dude, it’s fucking McDonald’s, what do you think, ‘the chef here really cares’? Lmfao,” commented a second.
“Going to McDonald’s and expecting them to do something is the first problem,” explained a third.
Some alleged current McDonald’s employees claimed the fast-food chain had the off-center cheese on purpose
“I work at McDonald’s, they don’t do it because they want you to think there’s a lot of cheese in there,” said a current employee.
“No, the cheese goes downstairs. Corp lets us do that, just let them know where you want the cheese when you order it,” said a second.
“The cheese is a time thing, we don’t have time on the line to be exact but the pepper shouldn’t be there, that’s weird,” remarked a third.
Others urged Chopelas to use the app to get better deals.
“Use the app, they usually buy one and get one for $1 for the quarter pounder,” one viewer recommended.
“Should have used the app man. Could get this for half the price lol,” wrote a second.
“Use the app, my boy. Get this meal for $6,” advised a third.
