Bandai Namco released the Top Gun: Maverick DLC for Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown while the developers were talking about the future.

Bandai Namco today released the Top Gun: Maverick DLC for Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown.

Priced at $19.99, the bundle is currently available on all platforms, although some regional stores may have to wait until tonight to get it.

By the way, Bandai Namco published a special interview with the game’s developers, and it contains a few interesting nuggets.

Brand Director Kazutoki Kono mentioned that he would like to release a new game to celebrate the series’ 30th anniversary in 2025. He then laughingly added that given that it’s been 12 years between Ace Combat 6 and Ace Combat 7, we might be running out of the end of time. Of course, it’s worth noting that this represents Kono-san’s views, so let’s not take it as an announcement or promise for now.

Producer Manabu Shimomoto also teased that the team is also working on a new free update to keep fans happy and that they may share more information in the near future.
