Marty Walsh runs on Dunkin’… even in Korea – Boston News, Weather, Sports

Former Boston Mayor Marty Walsh has found a piece of home on the other side of the world.

The US Secretary of Labor found a dunkin’ in Seoul, South Korea and had to take a picture outside.

“Korea makes @SecMartyWalsh feel right at home,” Walsh’s chief of staff Dan Koh tweeted late Tuesday night, Boston time.

Shortly thereafter, Koh tweeted a photo of Walsh with a hot cup of coffee.

“Success.” he wrote.

Koh then added that “no joke,” six clients with Massachusetts ties were also in this dunkin’, and said hello to Walsh.

According to the Korea Herald, Walsh is in Seoul to celebrate the inauguration of President Yoon Suk-yeol. He is joined by a group including Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff, California Congressman Ami Bera, and Korean-American author Min Jin Lee, who wrote the best-selling book pachinko.
