Mark Zuckerberg trolled when he showed off the ‘secret VR headset’ for having the wrong priorities while people teased him about the creation
MARK Zuckerberg just got his first look at a secret mixed reality project.
The billionaire posted a video on Facebook showing him playing with animated creatures while wearing a new headset.

Posting the video, Zuckerberg wrote, “First, check out mixed reality on our next headset, codenamed Project Cambria.
“This demo was built using the Presence Platform, which we built to help developers create mixed reality experiences that fuse physical and virtual worlds.
“The demo, called ‘The World Beyond’, will be available soon on App Lab.
“It’s even better with full color passthrough and the other advanced technologies we’re adding to Project Cambria. More details will follow shortly.”
In the short clip, Zuckerberg can be seen playing with a small purple creature and taking a virtual fitness class.
The billionaire also demonstrates how the headset lets you see Facebook Messenger floating in front of your eyes as a virtual screen.
While the Facebook CEO seems proud of his creation, he may not have gotten the reaction he wanted.
Some people commented that the gadget looked cool, while other people slammed Zuckerberg.
One person wrote: “Am I like the only person who thinks this could be bad for humanity.
“Haven’t smartphones and social media done enough damage already?
“Now they want to take people completely out of reality. I can’t see how that’s supposed to be good for mental health.”
Others questioned whether Facebook and meta-platforms got their priorities right.
One person said: “Not enough people want that. There are first person shooters that are based on real world maps. Sitting down and not having a heavy thing on your head is just the default preference for most.”
Another added: “You mean like a Pokemon game but in 3D? Mixed Reality in 3D isn’t easy with those big, bulky glasses…you can’t see where you’re going. An accident waiting to happen.”
Others defended Zuckerberg’s video.
One person said: “I’m not sure why people are laughing at this, that’s pretty awesome!”
