Mann quit his retail job to sell burps for a living

A man claims he is now making £22,000 a month selling burps in a jar and sending people his used socks.
Curtis Gibbs, 25, says his life has changed since he started fulfilling people’s fetishes online – and that his family has his wholeheartedly behind him.
He was previously making £1,300 a month working in supermarkets and had maxed out his credit cards when he decided to pursue an online “career”.
Curtis, from Wolverhampton, said: “The list is endless when it comes to odd requests. A guy wanted me to swallow a bottle of Coca-Cola, burp into a glass, seal the glass and mail it to him.”
Curtis’ first foray into the fetish industry was in 2018, but he didn’t take it seriously until November 2019 when he quit his job.
After seeing his subscriber count grow over time, he began posting more regularly and now has a studio dedicated to his craft.
People ask him about his bath water, used underwear and old sneakers.
Curtis said, “I made the decision to quit retail in November 2019 because of my mental health — I had worked in retail my entire life and it got to a point where I had had enough and couldn’t handle human interaction anymore.
“I converted my guest bedroom into a content space and my first goal was to find a way to differentiate myself from other content creators and find my own niche.
“Growing up my family didn’t have a lot of money, I actually come from a low-income council housing background and now I can go on vacation and buy designer brands.
“I never forget my roots or where I came from, so I really count my blessings every day.
“I was in a lot of debt with maxed out credit cards and loans that had to be repaid – I was £5,000 in debt so I worked full time to have money for bills and commutes to work.
“No matter what job I threw myself into, it felt like I didn’t have much disposable income left.”
He added: “I’m proof you can have a big belly and chest hair in this industry.
“I’m not focused on working tirelessly in retail, I have my own time, work when I want and focus on my mental stability.
“My family is absolutely supportive, they could see how much I was bringing in and they could see a change in my happiness too.”
