Manly Sea Eagles welcome back Josh Schuster for Parramatta Eels clash

Josh Schuster will make his first NRL appearance of the year in a timely boost for Manly ahead of the blockbuster clash against archrival Parramatta.
Schuster has recovered from a calf injury and will take his seat for Thursday’s derby at 4 Pines Park.
Cooper Johns replaced Schuster in the Sea Eagles’ round one win over Canterbury and the bye in the second round has given the Samoan international the time needed to be fully fit for the Eels clash.
Schuster made just 13 first-tier appearances in an injury-interrupted 2022 season but opted to skip the Rugby League World Cup to work on his fitness.
The 21-year-old is keen to cement the five-eighth spot alongside Daly Cherry-Evans after Kieran Foran’s move to the Gold Coast.
St George Illawarra, already on a high following a comprehensive opener win over the Titans, expects to bring Jack de Belin back for Saturday’s clash against Brisbane at Suncorp.

De Belin was hampered by a calf problem of his own but is expected to join coach Anthony Griffin’s team later on Tuesday.
