The 24-year-old was out of form last season, scoring just five goals in all competitions as he lost his place as a regular.
He has just one year left on his contract and has been linked with a move from Old Trafford to restart his career.
However, according to The Times, Rashford has turned down interest from Spurs as he wants to stay at United and impress Erik ten Hag ahead of next season.
Although he has struggled with injuries and suffered from a lack of form, his age and status as a local make him an attractive signing.
In the two seasons prior to last season, he scored 43 goals in 101 appearances.
United will be happy to keep their academy graduate as the likes of Edinson Cavani and Jesse Lingard have already left the club.
The Red Devils lack central strikers – only Cristiano Ronaldo is available – and Rashford can cover in a pinch.
The Englishman was one of many stars to be criticized for his performances last season when United finished sixth in the Premier League and went without a trophy for a fifth straight season.
The club’s record goalscorer Wayne Rooney questioned Rashford’s stance and urged him to change his career at United.
Speaking to The Sun, he said: “To get the record and be United’s top scorer is bloody massive.
“What I’m hoping is Marcus Rashford gets the fuck his head out of his ass and breaks that record. He’s a boy from Manchester.’
