Man United offer academy star new five-year deal | Soccer

Manchester United are planning to offer Academy star Alejandro Garnacho a new five-year deal.
The 17-year-old Argentinian is one of the brightest prospects at Old Trafford, having reached the FA Youth Cup final in May.
His current contract runs until 2025 but Juventus are interested in the winger and United are keen to tie him to a new deal.
Corresponding Fabrizio RomanoTalks are currently ongoing between Garnacho and the Manchester giants who want to finalize the negotiations by the end of this year as they believe he is a ‘great talent’.
Garnacho, who has modeled his game on Cristiano Ronaldo, broke through last season after scoring 14 goals in 34 games for United’s Under-18 side.
He made his debut as a substitute in a 1-1 draw with Chelsea in April before scoring twice in the FA Youth Cup final against Nottingham Forest.
Meanwhile, in March, he was called up to the Argentina national team for World Cup qualifiers.
Before the Red Devils signed him from Atletico Madrid in 2020, Garnacho was reportedly wanted by Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund.
Earlier this year, the starlet was highly praised by United’s former caretaker manager Ralf Rangnick.
He said: “(Garnacho) has been training with us for the past two weeks and I know he’s one of the most promising players.
‘(He’s) still only 17 but a player who hopefully stays grounded. If he tries to get better every day, then he’s not just sitting on the bench, he has every chance of playing for this club.”
