Man Says He Should Stop Paying Attention To Women On Instagram, Sparking Debate

A self-proclaimed dating coach on TikTok posted a controversial but viral video telling “beta men” to “stop giving women free ATTENTION!” The clip sparked debate in the comments, with some People say how “refreshing” his advice is, while others said he “blames women for his own… insecurities.”

Zar Danya (@tripleyourdating) posted the clip on Sunday, in which he says: “Most of you men have something to learn. If you don’t sleep with, date, or mess with a woman, don’t even look at her stories, don’t even like her photos.”

He continues: “As soon as I see provocative photos a girl posts, unfollow. ‘Cause I don’t need that shit. I’m not thirsty and I don’t give out free validation. My attention is very tight and if you want it we either have to date or shit has to happen and you beta males have to have the same mindset and all these women wouldn’t have inflated egos to message you all they 24 /7 on Instagram and comment that you would drink their bathwater and all that other shit. Oh my god, I don’t fucking get it.”

As of Thursday, the video has 377,100 views.

Many commentators agreed with his advice.

One user said, “Very refreshing to hear a man say that.”

“Same, no special attention to a woman not mine,” commented one TikToker.

“Haha thirsty boys it’s very scary,” wrote another user.

“Am a female and I agree with this message,” commented one TikToker.

Others found his advice “a bit extreme”.

“It just depends on the situation, if I’ve already smashed, I’ll slide up whenever I want,” wrote another TikToker.

“I don’t text but I like!!! lol what? Bro just trying to get my algorithm right,” wrote another.

Some disagreed with Danya.

One user said: “It’s like you’re angry that a woman is attractive on social media and you want her but so does every other man. And if only men didn’t thirst for her, she would be less confident and then choose you. It’s crazy. Why did you even follow her? Because you thought you had a chance and your feelings were hurt that she didn’t give you the time of day. This guy is so triggered and blames women for his own thoughts and insecurities.”

Another TikToker pointed out that men will also disrupt social media with regular photos. “On the FLIP site, I didn’t have a provocative picture and men messaged me. It was a normal picture of me smiling. I changed it and the news stopped,” commented one TikToker.

The Daily Dot reached out to Danya via Instagram direct message.
