Man hit and killed in hit-and-run in north St. Louis

ST. LOUIS — An investigation is underway after a driver fatally hit a man in a hit-and-run in north St. Louis on Friday morning.

The accident happened just before 11 a.m. at Block 3000 of West Norwood Drive in the Kingshighway West neighborhood.

Investigators say a driver of a white Nissan hit a man and left the scene. When police arrived, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
