Man faces charges in Cambridge after cutting woman’s hair with knife – Boston News, Weather, Sports

CAMBRIDGE, MASS. (WHDH) – A man is being charged in connection with a two-hour standoff in Cambridge on Tuesday night after police said he used a knife to cut a woman’s hair.

Police said the man argued with the woman outside a flat on Gore Street before cutting her hair with a knife. The woman escaped and the man barricaded himself inside a house.

Police were able to enter the home and arrest the suspect before taking him to the hospital for a drug and alcohol investigation.

The man was later taken into custody and faces multiple charges including assault with a dangerous weapon.
