Man City are considering a sensational summer move for Paul Pogba

The Frenchman has long been expected to leave Old Trafford when his contract expires at the end of June, although he has yet to agree to a move to another club.
Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus and Real Madrid have all been linked with the midfielder but now Manchester City are reportedly keen on making a sensational offer to keep Pogba at Manchester.
The Daily Mail report that City boss Pep Guardiola is keen to add a central midfielder to his squad in the summer and while Pogba’s salary would be huge, he is available on a free transfer, a rare opportunity for one of his players talent is.
City are unable to make a formal offer for Pogba before the end of the season so nothing can be achieved just yet, but he is on a list of candidates drawn up by the Premier League champions for summer transfers.
It’s a different position to clubs from abroad who can negotiate a deal with Pogba before the end of the season.
City would also need to convince Pogba to make the controversial decision to stay at Manchester and cut all ties with the Red Devils.
The Mail’s report suggests that Pogba is not ruling out a move to the Etihad, although it would be a controversial move not seen since Carlos Tevez in 2009.
