Man charged with murder after body found in home

A man has been charged with murder after a body was found in a home in the central west of the state on Sunday.
Emergency services were called to the property on Boori Street in Peak Hill, north of Parkes, around 11am after concerns were raised about the well-being of the resident.
Officers from the Central West Police District and paramedics from the NSW Ambulance arrived and located the body.
According to the police, the man has not yet been officially identified.
A crime scene was set up to forensically examine the home.
The death is being treated as suspicious and detectives formed Strike Force Hattersley to investigate.
Following an investigation, a man was arrested at Peak Hill police station Sunday afternoon and charged with murder.
He was denied bail and is scheduled to appear in Parkes Magistrates Court on Monday.
The investigations are ongoing.
