Man arrested in WA for attacking women in NSW town
The 18-year-old woman was attacked around 10:30 p.m. on April 5 when an unidentified man approached her and slapped her in the face.
She fell to the ground, but managed to escape her attacker and flee.
NSW Police Strike Force Noobilla, deployed to investigate the attacks, raided a home in Goulburn on Sunday morning and confiscated items for forensic testing.
Western Australia Police’s Specialized Rapid Arrest Squad arrested a man at a hotel in Fremantle late Sunday evening.
NSW investigators will now travel to Perth to seek the man’s extradition.
