Man accused of stabbing two people shot dead by police Clinton

Two people were stabbed and one man was shot dead by police Thursday night, according to the Clinton City Police Department.

According to police, the sequence of events began shortly before 6:30 p.m., when a man living in the home near 1700 North and 1300 West got into an argument with another man who lived there and stabbed him. The suspect then ran out and met a woman who lived nearby and also stabbed her.

When the police arrived, they found the suspect running down the street. Police said one or more officers opened fire on the man, killing him. Its name has yet to be revealed.

The two victims – a man in his 30s and a woman in her 50s, who had been stabbed multiple times – were taken to hospital for treatment. Their conditions have not been released.

The stabbings and shooting are still under investigation.

The shooting was committed by police in Utah for the 30th time this year, marking records set in 2018 and 2020.
