Love Island’s Paige Thorne ‘jumped to defend’ Adam Collard after ‘attack’

Love Island’s Paige Thorne is said to have jumped to the defense of her boyfriend Adam Collard when he was ‘attacked’ at a nightclub this week.

The couple, who recently made things official, were at Market Shaker in Newcastle when thugs were reportedly approaching Adam.

The footage shows people trying to rip off his top, but Paige is said to have tried to defuse the situation.

A source said: “A skinny guy in his late teens started trying to hit Adam.

‘To be honest he kept his cool and then the guy tried to rip Adam’s shirt off.’

They added to The Sun, “Paige stepped in right in the middle to stand up for Adam and try to end it.”

The pair left the club shortly thereafter without further action.

Adam’s representatives allegedly claimed Adam and his friends were “extremely devastated” by the ordeal.

The ordeal aside, Adam and Paige seem to be loving life after the mansion.

While they didn’t make things official during their time on the show, it seems they only became closer outside of the mansion, with Adam recently discussing making Paige his girlfriend.

He told ‘On Demand Entertainment’: “The only time we were allowed to sit on the sofa. For the first time it was just us.

“I was like, ‘Right, I have to ask you now because it’s benefiting no one but me and you. I really want you to be my girlfriend.”

Paige is also determined to get back to work as a paramedic.

She said: “I have a meeting to get back to paramedic work, so that’s going to be exciting.

“I actually saw an ambulance with the sirens on the other day and had some serious FOMO. I thought get my ambulance back!

“So yeah, I’ll come back to that a little bit and just see what other opportunities come up.”
