Police are searching for a teenager who went missing on Boxing Day.

Lillie-Mae disappeared from the Rainhill area of ​​Merseyside yesterday afternoon.

The 14-year-old was last seen walking down Stoney Lane in Whiston around 3.50pm.

Detectives have released a description and are urging the public to help find her.

She is described as 5 feet tall and has “shoulder length black hair, blue eyes, a slight build”.

Detectives also say she has the distinguishing feature of a nose piercing.

When she went missing, she was wearing knee-high boots with green laces, a short black dress and t-shirt over the dress, and a black hoodie.

It has links to the Rainhill, Anfield, Croxteth and Norris Green areas.

Merseyside Police have urged “anyone who has seen Lillie-Mae or knows of her whereabouts” to get in touch with them.
