Lipreader reveals what the royals were talking about on the balcony

Prince Louis exclaimed, “Woah, those are the Red Arrows!” as he took his seat with the royal family during the spectacular Diamond Jubilee flyby over Buckingham Palace.
The enthusiastic four-year-old showed he’s a fan of the aerobatic team as he looked up from the balcony this afternoon and told his parents William and Kate of his excitement.
Queen Elizabeth II was also suitably impressed by the past and present flybys of 70 aircraft representing British forces, saying “This is our air force… the Apaches.”
She expressed admiration for the way the Apache helicopters, RAF fast jets and wartime planes had lined up for the air parade, saying, “That’s very clever.”
The Duchess of Cambridge made sure her children, including Prince George, 8, and Princess Charlotte, 7, captured the moment the Reds painted the sky red, white and blue.
After the nine jets left the trails in nice weather, she said, ‘Look at the smoke!’
The comments were caught by lipreader John Cassidy during the memorable flight of 70 planes representing each year the monarch was on the throne during her unprecedented reign.
Plumes of smoke from the Arrows capped the opening pageant as thousands lined the streets of The Mall.
Thousands of people had lined the streets as the four-day bank holiday weekend kicked off with an extended Trooping the Color parade, which takes place every year to mark Her Majesty’s birthday.
Dressed in a sailor outfit, Prince Louis was a short-tempered figure during the balcony appearance as he waved at the planes and briefly cupped his hands over his ears as the plane soared overhead.
The 96-year-old monarch appeared relaxed and chatted with Prince Charles as working royals gathered at the lookout.
She also spoke to Prince Louis, her great-grandson, who stole the show with a series of amusing facial expressions.
Her Majesty waved to the crowd before the royals headed back to the palace, while the anniversary celebrations continued with a nationwide bonfire lighting ceremony tonight.
