Libs from TikTok have reportedly been booted from Instagram

Libs of TikTok said they just got kicked off Instagram.

The Libs of TikTok Instagram page shows a message that says “Sorry, this page is unavailable” with a warning that it may be removed or corrupted.

According to website, Libs of TikTok had over 100,000 followers at the end of April when the page was last archived.

The account came under fire as it grew in size and influence. Its content was reshared and highlighted publicly posted TikToks, which it saw as absurdity in terms of gender and identity of left-wing posters. It also had a strong school focus, flagging actions by teachers it found offensive and amplifying them to its large audience.

The Daily Dot first reported the account’s identity, which was followed by a report from the Washington Post that started an online firestorm.

The news of Libs of TikTok’s ban sparked some outrage from its fan base.

Libs of TikTok currently has over 1.2 million Twitter followers. Libs of TikTok did not respond to a Twitter DM request for comment. Meta, which owns Instagram, did not respond to an emailed request for comment by posting.
