LeBron’s teammates make goat noises when he speaks to the media

Circumstances seem to be looking pretty good for the Los Angeles Lakers these days. After opening the 2022-23 NBA season 2-10, they are now seventh in the West, 41-38, a half game behind fifth, and have secured a worst-case play-in tournament spot. They are 15-6 in their last 21 games.
After the team’s thrilling 135-133 overtime win over the Utah Jazz on Tuesday, LeBron James spoke to the media in the dressing room, after which a rising tone of goat noise kicked in from the background to acknowledge his status among all-time players sizes. Apparently that’s become a post-game trend among James’ teammates and hit its current high mark on Tuesday night.
While James seemed unperturbed by the loud “bah” noises all around him, the reporters were, at least briefly, a little less unfazed. The sly grin on James’ face as he prepares to answer a question shows he enjoys his teammates’ antics.

James and the Lakers return home Wednesday night to take on the Los Angeles Clippers. If they win that one and get a tie for the number 5, those goat noises could top Tuesday’s decibel levels. There’s still a lot that can shift and change over the next half week, but sentiment seems to be pretty good for James and his teammates at the moment.
