The couple, who were first romantically linked in 2016 after being spotted using heavy PDAs across the tri-state area, have been married since 2018. They have two children together: a daughter and a son.
In May 2018, the founder of PrepOn Cookware spoke Us weekly about how difficult it is to be a working mom – but how important it is to her too.
“It’s torture,” said the actress Us at that time about the return to the OITNB set as primiparous. “I went back to work when I was six weeks old. I directed when she was 4 months old. But she would be proud if she knew what I do.”
Before the birth of her son, Prepon wrote You and Me as Moms: A Raw and Honest Guide to Motherhoodin which they “shar[ed] all these different points of view … for moms of all ages,” she said Us in April 2020, noting, “I’ve really learned so much about this experience I’ve been through [while pregnant with my second] and how to prepare for the next time and that every situation is different from child to child.”
Prepon gave birth to and explained the couple’s second child, a baby boy, in February 2020 Us that they would not reveal their son’s name for a while due to privacy concerns.
“It’s a constant negotiation because we’re so lucky to be doing what we love,” she said Us in April of this year. “But part of being in the public eye is how you negotiate to keep your privacy, how do you negotiate to keep your private life private?”
Before the meeting, both Prepon and Foster’s love life made headlines. The former Netflix star dated Masterson’s brother, Christopher Mastersonfor years — and even had a five-year romance with a Foster unrelated to her boyfriend-to-be: ScottMichael Foster. Though the actors have known each other since they were teens, it wasn’t until 2016 that things took a turn for romance. They weren’t just spotted “smooching” over dinner in New York City, a source revealed Us at the time, but the couple also celebrated the Fourth of July together in New Jersey. “She was holding on to Ben and was all over him,” an eyewitness told us of Prepon and Foster’s PDA. “They were very close, talking and laughing.”

Before daughter Ella was born, Prepon gushed about her pregnancy Us. “I create life and it’s so incredible. I’m so excited about this experience, but you’re going through so many changes.” Some of those changes include cravings for foods she hadn’t thought about since she was a child. “When I suddenly got pregnant, I thought, ‘I need pastrami on rye. I need a black cherry soda from Dr. Brown. I need mustard and sauerkraut,” she revealed.

That Orange is the new black star tells Us explained the reason she and Foster have not publicly announced their son’s name. “We make all of these decisions as a family because we’re in the public eye,” she explained. “So whenever we do something like that, we have a conversation about it first and make sure we’re comfortable with it.” She added that the two haven’t spoken about it due to the pandemic.[taking] about everyone’s life.”
