Lancashire 50th birthday party ends in chaos

Birthday parties and family reunions can often be plagued by drama — but this 50th birthday has to top it all.
And if you’ve ever thought your family was having major arguments, it probably has nothing to do with it…
Lisa Keegan was enjoying her 50th birthday celebrations in Colne, Lancashire, but suddenly things took a rather dramatic turn.
Family friend Adam, 40, has been accused of stealing an e-cigarette from a teenage guest – and a fight ensued, all of which was caught on camera.
Lisa decided to get involved in the chaos and ended up falling backwards.
“You only turn 50 once and that’s certainly a birthday I’ll never forget!” She said. “It was chaos.
“They couldn’t fight because everyone was so drunk. I was in the middle of finishing it, but I should have just left her to her own devices.
“The video is hilarious. It’s like something out of Shameless. I was like memes. As I fell backwards, I just started laughing. Even the dog barked to give them away.”
The fight seemed to begin when Lisa’s daughter’s boyfriend Tony, 52, took a stand for the teenager.
Video footage shows two drunk men trying to hit each other.
Lisa and some of the other guests try to stop the fight, but to make matters worse, Tony accidentally starts punching Lisa.
She can be heard screaming, “No, you’re hitting me.”
Not the happiest bunny in the world, she then grabs a chair and threatens Tony with it.
It doesn’t stop there as Lisa’s daughter Coleen Jarvis falls back in her chair.
Other guests could be seen laughing while a neighbor watched the drama unfold.
Lancashire Police have been called and confirm they escorted a man home and an investigation is ongoing.
Tony has laughed at the events and said he’s “too old to get into fights” but says he’s grateful to police for the “lift home”.
Adam, who says it was his first day drinking in five years, admitted the fight was “more like shadow boxing”.
“We had one too many drinks, then we did some crosswords and that’s what happens,” he said.
“I didn’t mean any bad intentions. And we laughed and joked about it later. It was more of a drunken mess than anything.’
Lisa added, “When I watched it again, I was like, ‘Oh my days.’ I was embarrassed.
“We got a lot of criticism about it, but some people call me a legend… A lot of my friends think it’s brilliant.”
