King Charles and Queen Camilla arrive at the Coronation Concert | UK News

The newly crowned King Charles and Queen Camilla have arrived in the grounds of Windsor Castle for the concert to celebrate their coronation.
They were joined by other members of the royal family including the Prince and Princess of Wales, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
The royal family waved to a very enthusiastic crowd after trumpets announced their arrival a little earlier.
Prime Minister Rishi Sunak is also present with his wife Akshata Murty.
The performers at this evening’s gig include Take That, Lionel Richie and Katy Perry.
Presenter Hugh Bonneville opened the show on a huge stage in the grounds of Windsor Castle, to which 20,000 people were invited to the musical extravaganza.
The Downton Abbey actor referred to the King as “the artist formerly known as Prince” as he introduced Olly Murs at the start of the concert.
The whole event opened with a DJ set by Pete Tong, who said the king personally requested Ibiza club tunes.
Kensington Palace confirmed the Prince of Wales will later take the stage and deliver a speech after behind-the-scenes footage of William rehearsing and walking to a microphone was shared on social media.
Hollywood star Tom Cruise, Dynasty actress Dame Joan Collins, adventurer Bear Grylls and singer Sir Tom Jones will also appear via video message.
A palace spokesman said the King and Queen were “deeply grateful” to everyone involved in organizing the celebrations and ceremonies and to the spectators who attended on the day.
He said: “Their Majesties were deeply touched by yesterday’s events and deeply grateful both to everyone who helped make it such a glorious occasion – and to the very many who showed their support in such large numbers in London and beyond have shown far away.’

The historic coronation of Her Majesties King Charles III. and Queen Camilla took place at Westminster Abbey on Saturday May 6 – with celebrations continuing into Bank Holiday Monday.
