Kim’s personal trainer Melissa Alcantara spoke to Style Caster about some of the top gyms.

Melissa explained: “We always add more weight, some days we lift heavier than others. We sometimes focus on the form. We sometimes focus on the power.”

She continued, “I’ll do the same workout that she does later in the day — hip thrusts, reverse lunges, chest press, shoulder press.”

Some of the key booty workouts she talked about are stiff-legged deadlifts, reverse lunges, and weighted cable kickbacks.

Just focusing on training your glutes won’t do the trick if the rest of your body isn’t just as strong, says Melissa.

According to Melissa, hip thrusts are an incredibly important exercise to try at the gym.

Hip thrusts make a difference when you gradually add more weight each time you get down to business.

“Make sure you’re not lifting the exact same thing as the week before. Just a little bit more… It’s a constant evolution,” Melissa explained.

Another important factor in following Kim’s training plan is staying motivated — regardless of the possibility he may hit a plateau.

Melissa said, “Follow a program … Don’t just do stuff because you saw an Instagram girl throw weights around.”

Focusing on each exercise that you do on purpose is the key to leveling up, in Melissa’s view.

Items she encouraged people to have at home include free weights, booty bands and kettlebells.

She also posted a list of three essential workouts that she recommends to others just trying to reach their physique goals.

The first essential of Melissa’s list is Degree-Advanced Antiperspirant Deodorant.

The second key item Melissa suggests is the Lululemon Align High-Rise Pants.

They start at $98 on the official Lululemon website depending on size and color.
