Kim Kardashian commemorates Robert Kardashian’s death

A touching tribute. Kim Kardashian honored her late father Robert Kardashian by sharing a series of handwritten notes marking the 19th anniversary of his death.

“19 years ago my father passed away,” Kim, 41, wrote on her Instagram Story on Saturday, October 1, along with a message her father wrote to her. “I miss coming home to those notes I could barely read with his left handwriting. I love you so much daddy, I can always feel you.”

Robert – who was also the father of Kourtney Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian and Rob Kardashian – was diagnosed with esophageal cancer in 2003. He died two months later on September 30 at the age of 59.

In a second snap released on Saturday, the KKW Beauty founder shared various Father’s Day cards she’d given the lawyer over the years and revealed that her father kept every letter she’d ever given him.

“Happy Father’s Day (and keep up the good work),” the reality star wrote in a note in 2002. “Dad — I just want you to know how much I appreciate everything you do for me. I love working for you! I love you and Happy Father’s Day.”

“We skied every Thanksgiving” The Kardashians star wrote alongside another video of Robert skiing with family. “Best memories ever! And the reason I love skiing today, especially with my kids.”

The Hulu personality — who is now herself a parent to daughters North, 9, and Chicago, 4, and sons Saint, 6, and Psalm, 3, who she shares with ex KanyeWest – is currently working to emulate her father’s legacy by completing her law degree and passing the junior law exam in December 2021.

Two years earlier that Keeping up with the Kardashians Star opened to Fashion about advice Robert gave her regarding a career as a lawyer. “He once said to me, ‘I think you’d be great at it. But I also find it super stressful and tiring. So if you want to live a stress-free life, maybe you shouldn’t go to law school.”

In 2020, the SKIMS founder recalled idolizing the lawyer from a young age. “I think when I was a teenager and he was working at work OJ [Simpson] In this case, I snuck into his office and looked at all the evidence and things I shouldn’t have looked at,” she said at the time during the Television Critics Association’s winter press tour.

She continued, “Maybe it was in my soul for years that I wanted to do this. And I’ve even seen interviews that come up now six or seven years ago. People ask what I would do if I didn’t film my show. I always said I wanted to be a crime scene investigator or a lawyer.” Kim Kardashian commemorates Robert Kardashian’s death
