Kevin De Bruyne sends message to Erling Haaland with Man City goal celebrations

Kevin De Bruyne nodded to his future teammate Erling Haaland by copying his goal celebration as he completed an excellent hat-trick for Manchester City against Wolves on Wednesday night.
The Belgian scored his first goal of the evening seven minutes into the game, scoring in the 24th minute in a tremendous finish from the midfielder.
Haaland will join City from Borussia Dortmund in the summer, with the Premier League champions confirming the deal on Tuesday.
Obviously the news didn’t go over De Bruyne’s head and the midfield maestro let his new teammate know he was thinking of him.
After putting his third into the net, De Bruyne ran away to celebrate, crossing his thumbs and forefingers together to mimic Haaland’s famous “meditation” goal celebration.
De Bruyne didn’t go full Haaland and sat on the pitch in the lotus pose but produced enough of the celebration to act as a nod and wink for the Norwegian.
Asked by Esporte Interativo why he’s partied like this in the past, Haaland said: “I really enjoy meditating. It calms me down and gives me peace. That’s why I celebrate like this sometimes when I score.”
Haaland doesn’t celebrate with the meditation every time he scores, but has at times performed it for both RB Salzburg and current club Borussia Dortmund.
It seems certain he will have plenty of opportunities to do so as he comes to the Premier League and links up with De Bruyne and the other Manchester City superstars.
