A model family! Kate Upton and Justin Verlander certainly a home run with her family of three.

The couple, who tied the knot in November 2017 after five years of dating, welcomed daughter Genevieve a year later.

“This year was the best year of my life! It had a crazy start with a World Series win and the BEST wedding weekend where I got to marry my best friend and love of my life,” Upton reflected on Instagram in November 2018, shortly before Genevieve’s birth. “Now, to celebrate our love and our first year of marriage, we are preparing to welcome a new addition to our family. I am very happy to walk this path of life with you! I love you so much! All the best for a year❤️.”

The athlete went on to praise Upton’s parenting skills and shared his admiration for the Michigan native’s bond with Vivi.

“But just seeing her interact, all the caring and everything that comes with being a mom, it was great to see,” Verlander said Us back then. “I know it’s not easy for them either, but it’s quite a bond they have and it’s really special for me to be able to witness that and be a part of it.”

For her part, Upton shared her own thoughts on motherhood in a sweet upload celebrating Mother’s Day with her daughter.

“Being a mother is and will always be my greatest achievement,” Upton wrote via Instagram in May 2021, praising Genevieve alongside a photo of the two snuggled together. “I’m so proud to be your mother, Vivi. 💕 .”

A month later, Verlander shared a similar sentiment for Father’s Day.

“Being a #GirlDad is my greatest achievement yet,” the pitcher wrote via Instagram alongside a photo of him and Genevieve hugging on the beach.
