The royal mother-of-three, who was seated alongside Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, in the carriage procession wore a pair of earrings that once belonged to the Princess of Wales.
Along with his mother’s stunning sapphire engagement ring, William also gifted Kate some earrings after he proposed in 2010.
The precious earrings were a favorite of Princess Diana as they matched her engagement ring perfectly and could be worn by her daughter-in-law today.
The double pair of drops was originally presented to Diana as a wedding gift as part of a jewel suite by Crown Prince Fahd of Saudi Arabia.
In a special “letter of wishes” accompanying her will, Princess Diana wrote: “I wish to allocate all my jewelry to my sons’ share, so that their wives may have it or use it when the time comes. The exact allocation of jewelry I leave to your discretion.” “
Thunderous applause erupted as thousands of royal fans flooded the Union Jack-lined Mall for Trooping the Color in honor of Her Majesty’s 70 years of service.
Kate was joined in a carriage by Prince George, Prince Louis, Princess Charlotte and Camilla as the cheering crowd cheered.
Fans are also hoping to catch a glimpse of the royals, who will appear alongside the Queen on the balcony of Buckingham Palace later in the day.
All you need to know about Queen Elizabeth…

The Queen has reigned for more than 70 years, making her the longest-serving British monarch. But what else do we know about them?
Prince Andrew, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be noticeably absent from the exhibition after Her Majesty restricted the line-up to working royals only.
However, Harry and Meghan have been given prime seats to watch the landmark event after arriving from the US on Saturday.
It’s not clear if they will be joined by children Archie, three, and Lilibet, one, who have been traveling with their parents.
The party will be joined by Beatrice and Eugenie and Zara Tindall in the Major General’s office overlooking Horseguards Parade.
But there is no place for the disgraced Prince Andrew.
