Kari Lake claims she won based on a poll taken months later

Did you know that polls conducted months after an election are not the same as elections that last months? Congratulations, you know more than election loser Kari Lake. Back in November, the former Trump-hating news anchor turned MAGA nightmare failed in her attempt to become Governor of Arizona. She has since drawn a trump and claimed that she won. She hasn’t provided any hard evidence of that, and she’s so desperate to claim she’s not a loser that she now says a new poll shows she didn’t lose.

Lake posted a link to the far right outlet gateway expert, which picked up on a recent Rasmussen poll in which over half of the participants said they voted for MAGA candidates, including Lake. Admittedly, casual polls like this are not the same as real elections. For one thing, it’s safe to assume that not everyone who voted in the election that Lake lost took part in this poll.

But why would Lake allow basic tricks of logic to prevent her from continuing to claim she’s gained something she’s lost? “The Red Wave happened in Arizona,” she wrote of one thing that never happened, possibly thanks to extremists like her and Trump. “They had to cheat and lie to get their scams installed in office. We the people will never go away. We demand honest elections.”

Again, Lake never provided any concrete evidence to back up her claims. She’ll almost certainly take the job she never got, but more sane Republicans already fear she’ll run for Kyrsten Sinema’s eventual open Senate seat and lose it all again. On a positive note, at least recently, she has been yelling at Piers Morgan.
