Karen is reportedly following a black man into Sam’s club – it’s actually his mother
A black TikToker made a video showing a white woman following him through a Sam’s Club, but it turns out the woman is his mother.
Wilson Guenther, who regularly posts videos with his family, posted a June 1 TikTok showing a white woman walking close behind him into Sam’s Club. In the video, he says he doesn’t know who the woman is and that she asked him if he had a membership in Sam’s Club. He also asks her why she follows him in the video.
“She needs a cool down fr [for real],” Guenther wrote in the video’s caption. “Who is this lady?”
Günther’s video had over 8.6 million views on Tuesday.

In Guenther’s other videos, he shows that the white woman is his mother.
Some commenters on Günther’s viral video seemed to get the joke.
“The guy is about to fire his mom,” commented @unamusedfatguy.
“People who don’t know you are crazy about it,” wrote @infantr33.
“Leave your mama alone,” commented @wingedpin.
Others didn’t seem to know it was a prank.
“Are you safe, sir? Who is this woman?” @_psembhi wrote.
“NEVER DO THIS AGAIN I WAS CONCERNED,” commented @minaminafever.
“Went to his profile to see if he posted any news about this woman,” wrote @justintalladega. “Found something else.”
In an email to the Daily Dot, Guenther said his video was a “social experiment” and that he assumed viewers would not know the woman was his mother if he posted the video.
