Karen claims the restaurant solicited her without proof, refuses to pay

TikToker and restaurant manager @user627183716391 filmed a customer, known as “Karen”, who accused her staff of drugging the food, refusing to pay, and threatening to physically harm her substance.

“Happy New Year to me,” the caption read. The original video has received more than 330,000 views since it was posted on Sunday.

In the video, a customer can be heard shouting and harassing an employee. She threatened the TikToker, saying she would “punch you in the face.”

According to a follow-up video, the previous customer had come in and then called to complain that a waiter at the restaurant had tried to drug him.

“She told me she couldn’t even drive then she had to take a taxi,” said TikToker.

The TikToker told Karen that if she believes she’s been drugged, she should go to the hospital and get help.

“Once you’ve done that, feel free to contact us,” added TikToker.

During the videotaped encounter, the woman appears to have returned to the restaurant to eat. She had ordered the two most expensive meals off the menu and was planning to take one of them home later.

“But it looks like she thought we cooked the undercooked steak the first time around,” continued TikToker. “We took it off the bill, so all she had to pay was that other cool gift she got that she’d take home.”

After the TikToker gave her the food, the customer asked her what the owner said about her high. When the TikToker said she was waiting for a customer to update the restaurant about the hospital visit they discussed, Karen accused the restaurant of running a drug ring and “drugging her food for fun.” “.

The woman was eventually escorted out the door after a protracted encounter.

“She hit another manager who was preventing her from running away from the police,” one text read. “She is a safety threat at this point if driving and leaving our property.”

However, the TikToker said that the restaurant did not serve her any alcohol and they did not know if she was drunk.
