Kam Williams is preparing to become a mom soon and her The Challenge castmate boyfriend Leroy Garrett will welcome their first child with her.
While Leroy officially retired from The Challenge after her Double Agents season, it seemed like Kam would return to compete on the MTV show and potentially win her first finals.
However, the Double Agents finalist is now hinting that she would “probably consider it,” but it all depends on how other things go in her life.
Kam gives a surprising answer about her Challenge future
“Killa” Kam Williams first made his debut on MTV’s Are You The One? 5 before proceeding The challenge, with Vendettas as their rookie season. She reached the finals that season, as well as during her War of the Worlds 2 and Double Agents seasons, but failed to win everything.
However, as runners-up in Double Agents, she and partner Cory Wharton asked for $100,000 to split and gave them a decent sum of money for their efforts.
Kam left Spies, Lies & Allies and began enjoying life in Houston, Texas alongside Leroy Garrett. Last December, the couple announced they are are expecting their first child togethera young.
During a recent Q&A session on her Instagram Story, a fan asked when Kam would consider returning to The Challenge, and she gave an interesting response.
“I would probably think it was stupid … depends on where I am in life and how long that would take. I don’t want to miss any baby milestones and be away for so long,” Kam revealed in her reply.
Several Kam’s Challenge castmates have mentioned that they want to take a break from the show to spend more time with their families and to be involved in their children’s lives. Among them are Double Agents winner CT Tamburello and Kam’s finals partner Cory Wharton.
Kam says The Challenge brought her and Leroy together
Although the future of Kam’s Challenge seems uncertain, she also commented on how the show has impacted her life today.
A fan asked the three-time finalist if the competitive series got her and Leroy back together, and Kam revealed it was the War of the Worlds 2 season that did.
“Absolutely, if we hadn’t both been cast for WOTW2, we wouldn’t be here now. No relationship, moving to Houston, baby, etc. Even if we had met in the real world we wouldn’t have rekindled it, it definitely was. from spending time together this season,” she shared.
In War of the Worlds 2, Kam and Leroy were among the finalists for Team USA along with Paulie Calafiore, Cara Maria Sorbello and Ashley Mitchell. The US squad eventually lost to Team UK consisting of Jordan Wiseley, CT Tamburello, Rogan O’Connor and Dee Nguyen.
Kam’s response makes a lot of sense when it comes to her Challenge future, as witnessing those important baby milestones is an important part of life as a parent. It would certainly be disappointing for many fans if Double Agents was their last appearance on MTV.
Depending on the lifespan of the spinoff The Challenge: All Stars, both Kam and Leroy appear to be able to show up at the Paramount Plus show down the street. Additionally, fans seem to be speculating that the couple could get their own reality spinoff series based on raising their first child together.
The Challenge Season 38 is TBA on MTV. The Challenge: All Stars 3 launches May 11th on Paramount Plus.
