Is it too late for her to apologize? Justin Bieber took to social media to slam H&M for selling its goods – claiming they did so without his consent.
“I HAVE NOT APPROVED ANY OF THE MERCH COLLECTIONS THEY ARE INSTALLING AT H&M,” Bieber, 28, wrote on his Instagram story on Monday, December 19 WAS YOU.”
In a second post, the “Baby” singer called the clothes “trash,” adding, “I DIDN’T APPROVE IT. DO NOT BUY IT.”
Bieber then commented on a social media post from Instagram account @jbiebertraacker, which uploaded photos of the merch to advise fans not to purchase the items.
“If everyone finds out I haven’t approved any of this merch smh,” he wrote.
On Monday, a representative from H&M said page six A statement said: “As with all other licensed products and partnerships, H&M has followed proper approval procedures.”
Corresponding bustle, this isn’t the first time H&M has sold clothes with Bieber’s face on them. In 2016, the company sold clothing to promote him purpose tour and again for them Justin Bieber Stadium Tour one year later.
Bieber, who also has his own merch for sale on his official website, launched his own clothing line called Drew in 2019. After the “Love Yourself” singer trademarked the name in February 2018, he has been seen performing his own tunes on numerous occasions.
The original eight-piece collection consisted primarily of t-shirts, hoodies and some corduroy items, all unisex and ethically made in LA. As well as the camel corduroy numbers, the rest of the items came in a variation of three colors – black, red or golden yellow and ranged from $48 for a t-shirt to $149.
While the “Peaches” artist initially named the line after his middle name, he previously co-published a number of articles Drew Barrymores Similarity in June 2019. The Unkissed Star, 47, took to Instagram at the time to share some of the pieces that featured photos throughout her career.
A shirt worn by Bieber featured a snap of Barrymore in the 1982s ET A second picture showed a picture of the Always after Stern’s face.
“Drew ❤️ @drewhouse,” Barrymore captioned the Instagram post at the time.
In April 2019, Bieber faced his own brand reaction after reposting a tribute photo diddi shared in memory of his late ex-girlfriend Kim Porter to help promote his clothing line.
“@drewhouse #diddyfordrewhouse @diddy,” the Grammy winner captioned the photo, tagging his brand as well as the 49-year-old rapper. “KP YOU WILL ALWAYS BE REMEMBERED AGAINST THE STUNNING WOMAN YOU WERE INSIDE AND OUT.”
Some of Bieber’s followers were quick to hit the comments section with their disapproving replies. “Delete that sir he shared this pic in memory of his wife not to promote the clothing line,” one wrote. Another added: “How can one think of advertising or promoting their brand while another is mourning the loss of their wife and their mother’s children which is so disrespectful.”
Hours earlier, Diddy honored Porter – who died of pneumonia in November 2018 at the age of 47 – with the same picture on his page. “I remember Kim flew in to see me on the set of Can’t Nobody Hold Me. It took her about a 12 hour flight to LA and a 3 hour drive to the desert. Without complaints. Was always ride or die,” the rapper wrote. “From day 1! I called her BONNIE AND I WAS CLYDE!”
He continued: “This picture will go down in history the first time I said she was MINE!!!! And when I first told her I loved her, I didn’t know I was hers. Miss you BONNIE ❤️ and will forever. Maaaan life is nice to have had these experiences. Love you dear.”
The record producer and the Mom, I want to sing! The actress dated for 13 years before calling it quits in 2007. The former couple share son Christian, 23, and twin daughters Jessie James and D’Lila, 16. Porter was also mother to Quincy, 27, with Ex Al B. Sure!
