Jurgen Klopp rates Liverpool’s quadruple chances after Tottenham slip-up

Heung-min Son put Spurs ahead on Merseyside and while Luis Diaz clawed one back from a deflected strike with 15 minutes to go, they were unable to find a late winner.
A 1-1 draw was enough to put Liverpool back at the top of the Premier League on goal difference.
But two points lost will allow Manchester City to build a three-point lead if they beat Newcastle United on Sunday.
Expecting no favors from Pep Guardiola’s side, Klopp predicts City will secure victory over the Magpies.
And while Liverpool have already won the League Cup and booked their place in the Champions League and FA Cup finals, he says his chances of lifting four trophies after Saturday’s slip-up are “unlikely”.
“I’m not happy but not as sad as the players are at the moment and it’s my job to explain why something like this is happening,” Klopp told BBC Sport.
“Harry Kane and Heung-min Son were completely rested, that’s why it’s so difficult.
“That’s why the quadruple is so unlikely, there’s a reason no one in this country has done it before. We will continue.’
He added: “I’d love to sit here and say City are dropping points but I can’t see it.
“I wish I thought differently about it, but I can’t see it. But we’ll see what happens.”
