Jurgen Klopp confirms Liverpool’s boost ahead of Champions League final | Soccer

Jurgen Klopp has confirmed a double injury surge ahead of Liverpool’s Champions League final against Real Madrid, with midfielders Fabinho and Thiago both available.
Fabinho has not played since May 10 with a hamstring problem, while Thiago was doubtful for the final in Paris after suffering an Achilles injury on the final day of the season.
But both players have been called up to Liverpool’s squad to fly to the French capital on Friday and Klopp confirmed upon landing that both players would be in contention for the final.
“The mood is good, very good,” said Klopp at his press conference before the game. “We are all very happy to be here.
“It’s looking good for both of them. Fabinho trained normally, Thiago trained yesterday and today so let’s go from there.
Both Fabinho and Thiago have been crucial to Liverpool’s success this season, with Klopp’s side winning the FA Cup and EFL Cup and finishing a point behind Premier League champions Manchester City.
