Jenelle Evans and David Eason on the rocks? Teen Mom 2 alum says “being alone” is what she needs
Teen Mom 2 alum Jenelle Evans hinted that her marriage to David Eason is on the rocks.
Jenelle and David started dating in 2015 and married in 2017. They share one biological child, their 5-year-old daughter Ensley.
The couple’s relationship was full of ups and downs, and their actions were responsible for their downfall on Teen Mom 2. After David made homophobic and transphobic comments on Twitter, MTV fired him from the show. One year later, Jenelle was fired from Teen Mom 2 after MTV discovered that David had shot and killed their family dog, Nugget.
Recently, Jenelle has complained that she is severely depressed, and some recent comments may indicate that she and David are struggling in their marriage.
Did Jenelle Evans hint at marital troubles with David Eason?
Heading into the weekend, Jenelle answered questions from her fans on Instagram in her Stories in a question box she simply called “depressed.”
Many of Jenelle’s fans urged her to take some time for herself, specifically a vacation, amid her depression. One of her fans suggested, “Take one, you and David need one, it’s important girl ❤.”
Jenelle didn’t entertain the idea of taking a vacation with her husband, instead telling her 3million Instagram followers, “Yeah…I think being alone is what I need more than anything at this point.”
When another of Jenelle’s fans probed a bit more, asking: “What’s up[?]’ Jenelle replied cautiously.
“If I could tell you all I would, but right now I don’t trust anyone,” Jenelle revealed.
The Teen Mom 2 Graduate’s Financial Troubles
Jenelle’s cryptic messages follow a YouTube video she recently shared in which she blames haters for her failed business ventures. That’s what Jenelle claimed there was a “hate campaign” against themresulting in her losing business deals and consequently her family’s income.
After her JE Cosmetics line went under last year, Jenelle didn’t have much luck trying to start two podcasts, nor was she the face of an athleisure line she dropped just days before launch.
In a bid to recoup some of her lost income, Jenelle recently revealed that she and David have been collaborating on a line of merchandise called “collaborating.” Evans merch.
Until recently, Jenelle has been adamant in defending David, though Teen Mom 2 fans blame him for their bad luck since leaving MTV. just last month Jenelle clapped back with a critic who blamed David for the downfall of her career.
“Maybe my spouse and I don’t have the same views or opinions, but that’s okay,” Jenelle said. “We are two different people. I can agree to disagree and still be happy.”
