Jackie Kennedy’s former DC home is on the market – at a price befitting a queen – Boston News, Weather, Sports

(CNN) – In the capital kingdom of Washington, DC, you can live like an American king.

For just $26.5 million.

This is the price for the sale of three Georgetown mansions combined into one lot totaling 16,000 square feet.

A former mayor of Georgetown and a former Miss America have called one of the buildings their home.

For the rest of us the photos on the Sotheby’s list could be as close as we come at 3017, 3009 and 3003 N St. NW.

“The focal point (at 3017) of this historic property is a grand Federal style home built in the late 18th century which has been home to several prominent Americans, most notably First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy,” says Sotheby’s.

“While retaining its historic elegance, the property has been carefully transformed into a modern venue, embracing design, fittings and finishes of the highest quality. No detail was overlooked,” the listing continues.

“In 2017, this home was seamlessly connected to 3009 and 3003 N St NW, creating a truly one-of-a-kind property that spans 16,000 square feet of interior space with 13 bedrooms, 13 full baths and 5 half baths.”
