His latest album could be called Come home, the kids miss you, but it will be a while before Jack Harlow calms down. The Kentucky rapper is planning a 22-date North American tour in support of his second studio effort, set to begin this fall with special guests City Girls.
That Come home, the kids miss you The tour kicks off September 6 with an opening show in Tennessee at the Nashville Municipal Auditorium. The walk will last through October 16, when Harlow will complete the course at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. Tickets go on sale Friday, May 13 at 10am local time via Ticketmaster.
City Girls will be there for the entirety of the tour, minus a stop at Boston’s MGM Music Hall in Fenway. Yung Miami, one half of the rap duo she forms with JT, recently appeared in the music video for Come home, the kids miss you Lead single “Nail Tech”.
In conversation with Rolling Stone, Harlow explained that each of his songs is labeled as either “sometimes” or “always” when it comes to listening mood. “Is it a song you want to hear anytime, in any mood,” he says. “Or is it just for one mood – for the club or before training? I have to get over my burning desire to ‘always’ do all the songs on an album, because then it’ll never get through.” He classifies “Nail Tech” as “sometimes,” but the only place where every track has an “always” will be is on tour.
